Infoworks Log Permission Details

This article gives a detailed explanation on permission and write access to Infoworks logs.

• By default, Infoworks ships log directories with permissions of 755. Any new directories and files will have permissions based on the umask settings of the system.

• Based on System Umask Setting, the default value is 022, so that new files will have 755 permissions. Else, Infoworks does not actively modify the permissions for log files and directories.

IMPORTANT: The Infoworks user must have write permissions to the logs directory.
